Hi Charlies and Donley,

Hummmm, the poll is still open, but if you voted before (last year) you may not be able to vote again. I can start a new poll if you want . . . or you can Very Happy

Aye,
Jennifer

Hi all: as a new member of the clan and a new thrower at the games, I like the Camel. I have set a goal for myself that when I lose most of my decades old fat roll I plan to invest in a camel kilt. Right know I wear a Black watch, because it was cheap. Laughing

Cheer Cousins and see you down the road

I love our Stephenson Family green tartan very much, but a close runner up for me is the MacTavish red. I love wearing them both and love that my hubby got me skirts to wear while he is kilted. We have a tartan day display set up at our office in the foyer-- will send a picture on monday to Jennifer, and we will wear tartan (Mark in kilt) on Wednesday, National Tartan day.
Spring is coming...let the games begin!

Here we go again,

I guess since Donley and I are some of the "older Clan Members" around (I can hear Donley right now, "SPEAK FOR YOURSELF!) and have trouble figuring out these new fangled computer gizmos for like how to vote, I'll just have to do a voice vote again. My main kilt is MacTavish Ancient and I vote for it without question. I have the gray and MacTavish Modern but still prefer the Ancient. The Ancient is dignity personified.

Charlie

I am hard pressed to choose between the Stephenson Modern and MacTavish Modern. That's one of the reasons that we are displaying both of those tartans at our display this week for National Tartan Day.

Hi

I like the Modern Red Tartan. I wear the Thomson/Thompson dress blue.

For those of you who may be Scotch/Irish here is the link for the ULSTER RED Tartan:
http://www.scotweb.co.uk/tartan/ulster/20875
Check it out for yourself. It is really quite lovely.

My grandmother was from Northern Ireland. One Christmas, she purchased a lovely woolen skirt for me. She said that was "our" tartan colors. I grew out of the skirt. As I grew, she would replace the skirt with a new one.

It is a tough choice, as all the tartans are really beautiful.

Slainte,
Joanie

Hi Joan,
I like that one too-- it looks very Christmasy to me and I LOVE Christmas!
