Dear Clan Folk,
With Tartan Day approaching, I wonder which ones y'all will be wearing.

Good Morning Jennifer:
You know, that is a tough question...For me anyway.
Ofcourse, I am partial to the Thompson blue. However, I also love the Hunting. I was surprised to see how nice it looks on people.
I had occasion to visit the Scottish shop in Moultenboro, NH and saw a NEW tartan. The lady said it was a millennium pattern. The wool was from Locharron and it was absolutely beautiful. Though not a "family pattern," I would not mind owning a skirt like that one.
Lochcarron does excellent work.

While I have a kilt in the Modern Red, I love the Ancient.
Are there any others out there who prefer the Ancient?

Hi,
I like:
1. MacTavish Modern Red
2. Thompson Dress Blue
3. Hunting
4. Ancient
I chose to splurge and get sashes of the first three. I would also like to have a sash of the Ancient.

The "other" could refer to either the Stevenson tartan or the Thompson Grey tartan. I'm wearing the Hunting as I write this since it is April 6th.

Hi Friends,
All of our tartans are nice. I would be proud to wear any of them.
I prefer the Dress Blue Modern. My kilt is that one. Perhaps, if I should buy a second kilt, it would be the Red Modern.
In kinship,
Bill Thompson from Michigan.

I prefer the MacTavish Red modern and the Hunting tartans myself. The blue reminds me too much of the Carolina Tarheels, and being a Duke fan I just can't bring myself to like anything light blue HAHAHA.

I like the MacTavish Modern Red but, like Charlie, can not figure out how to vote for it.
