Hello All:

Calling on all of you to send in your favorite recipes.

I just wanted you to know that this column has been inactive, because I found it too difficult to provide recipes for this site, send recipes for a column in Non Oblitus and collect recipes for a clan cookbook.

However, you are all invited to send in your favorite Scottish recipes.

Please participate. I think we would be surprised at some of the recipes we could see here.

Slainte

Joanie

Greetings Fellow Clan Members
Here is a new one for you.
I will have these at Stone mountain this year.
I use the canned Haggis from "Caledonian Kitchen" in this recipe.
It's not as good as mine....but it is workble.

SCOTTISH PUMKIN PIE

2- 9" pie shells
I can Haggis....Lamb....Sirloin.....or Highland beef!! (14.5 oz)
18 oz. pumkin pie filling ( or you can make it from scratch)

Put an even layer of Haggis (About half full) in the Pie Shell
Fill remaining withe the Pumkin Pie mixture
Bake at 350 for about 1.25...to 1.5 hours until set.

There you have it...Scottish Pumkin Pie
